Services Provided

Home Podiatry Visits available and at Halls Head Allied Health Room. There have been a few alterations to Paul’s skills provided by a relatively traditional profession since graduated in 1997. Modern treatment toward diabetic assessment, foot pain management have been implemented. Services try to be provided ‘with a smile’.

Bulk Billing from EPC Medicare Plans Only

For Medicare referrals, any medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plans from General Practitioners are bulk billed. It is a large amount of patient/cliental billing thus far. Payments are processed manually or electronically through medicare. Call 0401 323 690 or email paulsekendy4@hotmail for enquires. It is preferred the referral is emailed a few days before the appointment.

Diagnosis and Examination

Clinical histories of complaints determine which examinations are required. Various tests able to arranged through available services include nail analysis, x-ray, ultrasound for more accurate results

Ingrown Nails

Painful ingrown toenails treated conservatively with various instruments. Non-surgical techniques often have long term success with directions toward maintaining a nail structure. ‘Save the nail’ where possible from surgery is best interests of Paul’s skill set.

Shoe Insole / Orthotic Services

Paul has extensive experience since 1994, as a student in custom made orthoses/orthotics fabrication by hand from plaster casts (with tools and machinery assisted). Scanning can also be used. These are made of flexible plastics or by 3D digital printed devices. They may be of benefit to treat a variety of Plantar Fascial pain/Plantar Fasciitis, Knee pain, Forefoot pain, Heel Pain, Achilles Tendinitis and General Foot Pain conditions.
Another option of mass produced/generic insoles costed at $60 per pair (private rebate code F267) may also be of benefit for above conditions. A variety of different rubberised styles are available for children and adults. The fee for custom orthoses is 2 x F221 ($195 each) for a total of $390 with a typical private health rebate of $240 (if covered). Private fees are $75 initial and $56 return visit. All Enhanced Primary Care plans are bulk billed, working or non-working persons.

Home visits have been performed extensively in Paul’s career. Fees and charges are dependent on distance travelled. Only local areas serviced at the moment. Contact to arrange. Currently available.

Paul Sekendy Career Overview

First registered in 1997 Paul is a member of AHPRA. He established in NSW, East Maitland Podiatry /Wallsend Podiatry both (1997 to 2019), and Muswellbrook Podiatry (2001-2019).

Home visits and treatment at various aged care centres in Hunter Valley extended from Scone to Newcastle/Maitland areas surrounding. Part time hours were performed at Hornsby podiatry in 2005/2006. Paul commenced at Yesan Health Podiatry from September 2019 to currently casual hours, and Piara Waters Podiatry from September 2021 to April 2022. Massage therapies were provided on a casual basis at Whifords Football Club in 2021. Two certificates in massage were attained in 1999 and 2019. External education in dry needling, webinars (informative videos), research articles reviews have been completed regularly consistent with AHPRA’s recommendations.

Lions Hearing also uses the Allied Health building.
Parking spaces are provided in the internal carpark where the main entry is also located.
